Question:

I was wondering if you can get HPV through oral sex?

 



Yes, my personal experience is that you can get it from oral sex. I started noticing small white bumps on my lips during my past relationship, and then my ex-girlfriend told me that she had HPV. Of course, by then it was much too late... But yes, I have it now... and it''s nice and visible for the world to see (bleh!).

And apparently from the other posts on this site, this is one of the more rare cases. Lucky me! )

I have heard many things about this topic. Some say it is likely but in most cases you won''t get it by having oral sex. Then some research I've done say that you can get HPV through oral sex. Most likely oral warts would appear in the mouth if you got it through oral sex. I would say yes you could get it from oral sex.

well that is the way I got it.. i got a blow job at a party from a random girl... what a smart choice.. but then i asked my doctor telling them that i was a virgin and have only had oral.. they said that the virus can be inside the mouth not visible and also could be spread by my own self from a wart on my hand.. aint that something got it from jacking off... but the doctor was certian that it was from the girl but sad thing is i cant see her to find out for sure.. i dont remember who it was
