Getting warts in the mouth is uncommon.

HPV can be transferred when symptoms aren''t present.

The virus is present even though you or he may not have visible warts, so yes, the virus can be transferred that way. Use protection with oral sex.

It is uncommon to get most types of HPV on your mouth, however, proceed with caution as the high risk strain HPV-16 will take residence in your mouth. In addition, HPV-16 causes 30-40% of oral cancers.
