I have genital warts, and I am getting them frozen off tomorrow, is it painful??

YES!!! It doesnt matter what the doctors say. You cramp up and it hurts like hell.

It burns when the freezing is done but thats all. It cools down 2 minutes later, and then you wouldnt even know anything happened

barely at all! I just had it done and it was way easy. slight burning feeling and it was over before i knew it!

A week ago I had them removed surgically. They were frozen off while I was asleep. When I woke I couldn''t stop crying from the pain. And the pain is still there. I can't even sit properly!!!
And I've got a funny walk right now. I have to bade at least 2 a day and put a hughe amount of cream on me every time. I hope I'll never get them back because Aldara doesn't work for me.

No it doesn''t really hurt, and I have a VERY low tolerance to pain. It just hurts a little. It feels like the doctor is pulling your haor down there - it smarts a little, and then is a bit tender after, but I have had wayyy worse pain before.

Hi, I just had my first session at the doctors yesterday at getting my warts frozen off. To be perfectly honest it was quite sore, actually it stung more than anything. I was quite tender after but not sore. It stings when the doctor or whoever is spraying. I''ve heard that taking painkillers a half an hour before treatment helps. It's not the most comfortable treatment but at the end of the day your health is more important so it's just got to be done.

It wasn''t for me, just take a small deep breath and its over in no time, usually they will spray the liquid nitrogen 3 times per wart. I wouldn't say its paingful it just burns a little.

I do not have genital warts but I had a ton on my elbow and he sprayed the crap out of it I can handle pain so it hurt a lil bit but nothing to crazy but then afterwords like right now it hurts it feels like hes still spraying but I only till that will happen if you have a ton and the doctor just sprays alot

I had mine frozen with liquid nitrogen and a qtip. Kinda painfull, it felt like slight burning or stinging. I just tuffed it out by making coversation, saying ouch, and chucklin once in a while til it was over ). Then the real burning creeped up for the next 10-15 minutes (ouch!). I made it though. 8 hours later and my Genital Warts is alil sore where the burns are.Their supposed to blister,dry, and i was told to allow them to peel on their own.
Another thing i tried a month prior is, using apple cider with a cotton ball and medical tape. It also works, you just need patience and tolerance cuz of the smell /. A week or two and they dry up.
