Question:

Three years ago I had a pap that came back with an ascus. I had the vinegar test but it came back negative. Since then my paps have been normal. I havent had any sexual contact in six months, and had my last pap in late september which came back normal. I recently noticed bumps near my anus, is it possible that this is gential warts?

Anal warts would not cause an abnormal pap. HSV is localized in the infected tissue. It does not spread from the anal area to the cervix or vice versa.

this is not a question but its important!!! if your a guy and have a bump you need a biopsy!! its when they cut the bump and sent it to get results!! wemon can get a papsmear to know....and for wemon who dont have the virus they can now take 3 vacines to prevent exposure to the more severe forms of the virus but for men the onlything we have is biopsys cut it and test it!!!
