Question:

If I was sexually active with someone for a short period of time and 3 months later he began showing signs of warts, is it definite that I was exposed? it has been 6 months since I was with him, if not more and I am yet to show symptoms, when can i feel like I should not be so paranoid?

If you have been sexually active with this person and he has been showing signs of having the hpv virus, then more than likley you also have it. The doctors will tell you that just because you have no signs or symptoms you may still have the virus. Most of the time you will show no symptoms. The only way to tell is by having a pap test done.

There is no real way to determine whether you have hpv or not. Some people never show symptoms. You most likely carry the virus...it grows slowly and you may never experience symptoms. If you ever see any kind of bumps...you can determine whether it is hpv by apllying vinegar for a minute. If it turns white then it is hpv.

Trade your paranoia for thankfulness. You''re lucky you knew you were exposed and can keep an eye out for these things.

That's a major advantage over some of us that didnt realize what these bumps were until they had grown into a problems.

Visit your doctor on your scheduled times and just keep an eye on yourself. Catching these thigns early makes them very easy and you can avoid much of the annoying stuff.
