Question:
I have bumps that grow on my inner thigh, I think they are ingrown hairs, Does anybody have the same problem?

I have always had ingrown hairs and bumps long before I ever had sex. Don''t worry about the small stuff.

I am a thicker young woman and I also have some bumps on my inner thigh that do go away and sometimes leave a little dark mark. With alcohol they literally disolve. I think it is because my thighs rub together. They dont hurt and I am personally not worried about them.

Yes, I have the same thing.. I believe they are from my legs rubbing together through athletic activities. Try giving the area a rub with cloth and soap everyonce in a while - I''ve found this can sometimes prevent the ingrown hairs and bumps.

Yes, I have that problem. They can get pretty large and sore. I don''t think that it is ingrown hair, because why would it only be on the inside. My doc said that she thought it was from friction and heat, especialy if you prespire a lot you are going to have some adjetation.

Most likely it would be herpes or warts. If stuff comes out of it, and looks like a little pimple, then it''s probably herpes. If not, then I don't know

I share the same perdicament... I have no clue what they are, mine are white and I''m capable of... bursting them such as one would do with pimples.

ya''ll sound like some intelligent people let me tell you....the one dude up top is calling women, "wemon" and tellin people to get a biopsy, then some others are saying its from their thighs rubbing together....they are cysts people....they can be caused by ingrown hairs yes, but they just arent infact ingrown hairs. its a Sebaceous Cyst that had ruptured under the skin. It sounds a lot worse than it really is, when it ruptures it just speads out and flattens so that it's not a huge bulging bump like it was before it ruptured. It can be caused by an ingrown hair a clogged gland, or bacteria that gets into the skin after shaving with a razor.

Are they tiny, red and go away after several days? I get these too, i was concerned about herpes, so I went to the gyno (twice actually.) She was able to assure me that it is follititis, which is inflamation of the hair follicle. She said not to worry, unless they look like blisters. I am sure you are fine, but I would suggust you get checked out, for peace of mind.

Yes, I get those two and they are quite painful. I pressed one and this hard white stuff came out. They look more like black heads. Could they be just infected pores?
Any ideas?

this is not a question but its important!!! if your a guy and have a bump you need a biopsy!! its when they cut the bump and sent it to get results!! wemon can get a papsmear to know....and for wemon who dont have the virus they can now take 3 vacines to prevent exposure to the more severe forms of the virus but for men the onlything we have is biopsys cut it and test it!!!

I always get red bumps on my inner thigh, but they always appeared to be razor burn due to shaving. I went to my doc. just to be sure, and he said that it was razor burn. He suggested bikini zone which is a cream that you can get at any drug store and it really helps!

Yes I have those too sometimes. Whenever I shave down there, I get a bunch of them and they go away eventually. But I also get them from time to time b/c of the friction of your thighs rubbing together. It sometimes irritates that area

yes I get those too sometimes but it hink they are due to rubbing of the leg with your pants wich cause heat. But they eventually gp away on there own.

I do and thats why I came here. cause im worried about warts.. but they are not directly on my penis.. they are more on my innde thigh where my testicles hang down.. i was thinking maybe a combination of sweat, and maybe not getting all the soap off when i shower... causing clogges pores.... i hope

Yes I have horrible ingrown hairs I even have to wax instead of shave. Rest assured ingrown hairs are very different symptomatically from warts. Warts are hard and I think aren''t generally fluid filled, whereas ingrown hairs tend to be pus-filled.

I have those as well it is due to the fact your thights are rubbing together some even may get them under your arms. Try using baby powder to coat the inner thigh it makes friction between your legs smoother to prevent the bumps before applying the powder use alcohol to cleanse the area.

yes, I get these also, and if you shave or wax there then that is probably the problem. they only started showing up on my inner thighs after i was waxed there.

Yes I have them also. I am a thicker female and I always thought it was because of my thighs rubbing together. I have had them every since I can remeber . The symptoms are they go away anf come back every so often. Most times I forget they are there because they do not hurt or itch. They also leave their mark behind.

dont worry, get checked first before, dont think is warts or herps when you dont have the test, it can be normal, or wearing tight pants which is cauing it

It''s most likely ingrown hairs, herpes or warts would most likely be on your penis, ingrown hairs would form more on the inside of thigh because they rub together there, shaving that area usually can help cause it, you don't HAVE to see a doctor unless it gets really big or painful, whatever you do, do not pop them
