Question:

Ok I found a lil bump on my genital area and it kinda looks like a pimple but it doesnt feel like one? could itbe genital warts? How long does it take the virus to go into a low term virus??

Genital warts and pimples dont really look alike.

Genital warts are rough, patchy and cauliflower looking.

What does it feel like then? You can try and pour some white vinegar on it. if the vinegar bubbles or turns the bump white it is a wart. Also if it is a pimple it will go away. Warts tend to stay around for a long time. Sometimes they will just get bigger and wont go away until they are removed by a doctor

It could be molluscum. Its very easy to catch molluscum and the lesions look like a pimple at first. It is a strand of HPV I believe, but not genital warts. I contracted molluscum from basic training, I dunno someone must''ve used my towel before I did or something. At any rate, if the lesion becomes concave and has sort of a milky white center thats probably what it is and more should appear. Its very easy to spread so wash the area well, and wash your hands after touching it. A dermatologist could tell you for sure. If it is molluscum it is often treated with aldara cream which generally sucks because it inflames the area. Freezing I would highly recommend avoiding. There's a product called zymaderm which I found on the web which is painless all natural and works very well for getting rid of it.

but then it could just be an ingrown hair.
