Yes it can, but any infection could do that as well. So it''s smart to go to a doctor so they can better diagnose your symptoms.

I had a high risk displasia of hpv. I didn''t even know it until An abnormal pap came back. My doctor treated me with cryol(sp) therapy, which is freezing of the infected area. He told me I would have an abnormal discharge for a few weeks but he failed to mention how bad it would smell. When i looked for answers on the web it said the discharge should not smell at all and it was an infection and abnormal, untreated it could lead to hospitalization. I freaked out, but then when I went to the obgyn he said it was very normal and it was just the dead healing tissue.

I have never heard of smelly discharge as a symptom of HPV. This is typically a symptom of a bacterial infection.

Well I had an abnormal pap about 6 from today the clinic said it was high-risk HPV so I went to another doc and she told me it was, but that sometimes this type of cells go away by them selfs and that mine seem like one of those and that I didn''t needed any treatment so she told me that she was going to do me another pap in 6 month so that she could take my case from there but lately I've been having really I mean REALLY smelly discharge which from my point of view comes from HPV because since I got HPV I haven't had any type of sexual contact with another person. hopes that helps and if you're like me with HPV you should really better get to the doc because remember high-risk HPV can become Cervical Cancer

I am not sure if it does, but HPV is related to many vaginal infections. In some types it does cause UTI''s, yeast infections, and vaginitis.
I had bacterial vaginosis that was related to HPV, you can help this by inserting a acidopholis tablet in vagina. But you might want to go to your doctor and test this discharge to make sure.

I never heard if getting cryol done. When I found out i had high displasia HPV they performed a LEAP on me. There where 3 small areas they took off

IT IS POSSIBLE BUT SYMPTOMS DIFFER.

i think it does bc ever since I found out i had dysplasia which finally dissappeared it seems as though my coochie does smell a little off not toooo horrible though all i can suggest is drink alot of water it flushes out the system and actually works preety well!!!
