From what I have read, I am making an educated guess

It is rare that a person will have HPV in the mouth and throat area, because the type of HPV that causes gential warts does not do well in the environment that the mouth and throat provide. Furthermore, to be at risk to have HPV in the mouth, the person you are kissing would have had to have had oral sex with an infected person, not just have gential warts themself. So the likliness of getting oral HPV from kissing someone would have to be very low! Getting gential warts from kissing is not possible, from what i understand.

Although most medical literature claims this is unlikely, it can be passed through saliva and kissing.
