Hi,
i am 15 years old and I have small white bumps around the tip of my penis. i have never had sex so i am sure that it is not genital warts but i was wonder in if Pearly Penile Papules could be found on the tip of the head of the penis.

Hey there I to have these unatractive looking bumps on my penis but not on the head of the penis.In one of the pictures found in the link that the person sent in comment # 7 i think it is, my bumps look like the secound one os the 2 pearly penile papual pictures, they go up each side of my shaft.I have had these ever since I probably started puberty, I am 21 now and have had very few sexual relationships because of them.I thought they were warts for so long until I got fed up of finding excuses to not be with the girls who wanted to be with me that I went to see 2 or 3 diff. doctors and they all said that they are Pearly papuals and NOT warts.Still I am pretty uncomfortable when it comes to having a sexual relationship with a woman even though I now that these bumps are common among many men and woman so I''v heard.So do yourself a favor and get checked out it will help relive some stress it may e causing you.

im 16 and noticed the bumps a few years ago....they do bother me, but not in a way to affect my personality. anyway when I first saw these i thought they may have been pimples, and when i squeezed them a strange discharge came out......and after several attempts i realized the white almost stringy discharge keeps coming back.....and even when i leave them alone they dont go away.....does anyone knoe what this discharge is??

i''m 28 years old and I had mine since my mid teens. i've always wondered if i could get them removed and just recently i did. the procedure consisted of a combination of snipping and burning of the papules. and since i had a larger than normal amount it took more than one visit to my dermatological surgeon. the procedures were painless for the exception of the initial anethesia which is just the pain of a standard syringe prick. i'm just a baby when it comes to needles. for cicumcised individuals post operative care is very minimal. regular cleansing and loose underwear is pretty much it. for uncircumcied individuals post operative care requires more attention and care. i am not circumcised so i made myself temporarily by keeping my foreskin drawn back with loose fitting rubber bands and gauze for cushion. after both procedures i was fully healed in around 2 weeks

I am 15 and I THINK i have pearly penile papules. I have not had sex, a while ago i developed small spot-like things along my penis , they are very clumped at the very edge of the foreskin. They are unnoticeable unless i am erect. They are mostly round with a smll dip in the center. At first i thought it was just a form of acne. Do i have ppp? Will it go away naturally? Please help me.

Um.. I used to be extremely worried about my penile papules as well... But after I got up the balls to do some research about them I found out that it really isn''t a big deal. Some of my gf's actually preferred it because it stimulated them more when I didn't use a condom :D Its not like you can see the little Genital Wartss when they're thrust inside a chicks clit anyways, so my advice to you is to quit being a wuss about it and come up with some valid excuse as to why you arn't banging the girl you want.

same as the rest, I got these around puberty. the only thing that sets mine differnt from what i am seeing on here is that i only have 2 of them, right next to each other but a little spaced apart ( . . ) the underneath foreskin just below the head. i am pretty sure that these are ppp though because they look the same as all the other ones ive seen and dont hurt or anything. they have stayed the same the whole time ive had them. but theres only 2. whats up with that??

Man, I feel the same pain. I have noticed these little bumps for almost 2 years now and my girlfriend is a bit skeptical about it now. I got the same bumps( pearly papules) when I was about 16. Well I am 29 now and I finally got up the nerve to get them removed via laser. Previously, I had visited 3 doctors and all told me it wasnt an STD ( warts,herpes) but it was papules and dont worry( of course they can say that but its their body). Its been 2 weeks and I am almost healed completely. It is a self confidence issue and I wish I would''ve had this procedure earlier. Good luck and stay positive

Yes,,,it is quite common for some men to have pearly papules. They usually do show up around the head of the penis and they are benign.
To be honest, we have had doc at the clinic who would freeze them off b/c fellas won''t quit picking at them and then they get infected!
If I was a fella - I would want them gone, but they do nothing and seem to affect nothing so most docs say leave 'em alone. It would seem to be an individual thing. But at 15 y/o old it may seem like something overwhelming. I am so proud that you even knew to look up and find that these were pearly papules. Good Man!

Holy crap! Idk even how to thank this website and those of you that commented. I was so freaked to go to the doctor because i thought it was a std. I even thought about how much I cared to even live. I would tell myself that being a bachelor later in life would be fine, that i didn''t have to get married. I held myself back from doing things with girls, i would date but do nothing. Wow! I feel so great that I''m not alone. I love this internet thing, it can potentially relieve a lot of anxiety. Anyways I've been with plenty of girls and none of them have even seemed to notice. You can''t accuse us GU Doctors of not being poetic or having sense of fun and imagination. However, the term pearly penile papules does describe them - it's like that tin of varnish, and it does exactly what it says on the box. First of all, see your doctor. I was 16 and diagnosed with HPV as a virgin. Im pretty sure I got it from a wart on my hand (I remember it distinctly). So you can''t be sure its not HPV. Its very rare but hey, we dont all have good luck.

Hi.I had these spots since puberty...JUST had them lasered off.It cost £450 and only took about 10 mins.There was no pain as a cream is applied that numbs the penis.Only one or two of the girls I slept with ever mentioned them but am really pleased with result.....and there is no loss of sensation nor any scarring...should have done this years ago !!

AgNO3 75% applied twice will remove the papules and the kind around the glans will heal within 2 weeks. It does sting when first applying, but the final effect is worth the discomfort. Dress with non-adherent dressings such as melolin for the first week. 2 Days after application, the area medicated will turn black and eventually slough off leaving a raw area. This will heal and be smooth. Only do a 1inch long area at a time though, otherwise the pain may prove too much! And no masturbation for the duration of the treatment!
