I just received a call from my primary care physician telling me I had abnormal pap results showing that i have HPV. I need to go in for a colposcopy in 2 weeks, but am freaking out now. Any chance the test could have been wrong?

• I was recently diagnosed with high risk HPV..the type that is associated with cervical cancer. I have had some large, slightly raised bumps on the back of my tongue for several years, (they are painless and have remained the same size). Could these be attributed to HPV and if so should I be concerned about oral cancer?


• What does a wart look like if you pop it. I had some bumps and popped them. does anything come out of a wart if you do pop it?


• If I am treated and my boyfriend does not have HPV, is there always a chance he will get it? Is there a chance he never got it at all?


• HELP! LAST MAY I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD GENITAL WARTS AND IT HAS BEEN A ROUGH ROAD!!! FINALLY NEXT WEEK I GO IN FOR LASER SUGERY AND I NEED SOME QUESTIONS ASKED!!! I''M SO SCARED.... 1. IS IT TRUE, IS IT EXPENSIVE? I HAVE REALLY GOOD INSURANCE!! 2.HOW LONG WERE YOU IN THE HOSPITIAL? 3.IS IT THAT PAINFUL? 4.CAN YOU TELL THAT YOU EVER HAD THEM AFTER SUGERY? 5.AND WILL THEY COME BACK OR DID THEY? PLEASE WRITE BACK I M SO SCARED AND AFTER LETTING IT GO FOR 6 MONTHS I FINALLY GOT THE COURAGE?
