Yes, my personal experience is that you can get it from oral sex. I started noticing small white bumps on my lips during my past relationship, and then my ex-girlfriend told me that she had HPV. Of course, by then it was much too late... But yes, I have it now... and it's nice and visible for the world to see (bleh!).

And apparently from the other posts on this site, this is one of the more rare cases. Lucky me! ;)

I have heard many things about this topic. Some say it is likely but in most cases you won't get it by having oral sex. Then some research I've done say that you can get HPV through oral sex. Most likely oral warts would appear in the mouth if you got it through oral sex. I would say yes you could get it from oral sex.
