She might have. You really can never tell who you got the virus from unless you have only been with one sexual partner. It only takes one. It doesn't matter if you limit your number of sexual partners or wear condoms. Condoms sometimes don't protect against this virus. I had only been with 3 people when I found out that I had the virus.

It's possible. You can reduce your risks and other's by limiting the number of partners and wearing protection / preventing contact with another's infected area.
