Question:
I had laser surgery in 1995 to remove warts, and have not had an outbreak since. Today I noticed a white hard bump on the outside of my labia. What are the chances it's another outbreak 7 years later?

This is very possible, since the virus itself never goes away. The virus goes on living inside your skin. This is why the warts can return after they have been removed. Also since there are many types of HPV and if you had sexual contact with a person that has a different type of HPV it could be possible that you were infected with that type and that's why you are having an outbreak. If you smoke of if your immune system has be weakened this could also be a factor for the outbreak.
