Oh What a price to Pay...

I had a "severe" abnormal pap 3 years ago. My first wart appeared last month. I thought it was a rash or something and forgot about it. I then saw that they were still there and decided to check it out. Its was indeed HPV warts. I had no idea for 3 years that HPV caused dysplasia. I had no Clue that I had a STD!! I have cried all week...and found myself taking showers 2X per day. I am going through the "normal" reactions...but getting better. I then reached out to my best friends for emotional help. guess what...they BOTH have it. Talking to them about their experience has helped me a great deal. If you are reading this and have recently found out...YOU ARE NOT ALONE. At this point, I have decided to treat sex more preciously. It may very well be untill I am married that I will have sex again. Of course I plan to tell my partner...thats part of a solid relationship. No secrets, and a clear concious. Think about it..itsnt that what we all want...someone who accepts us for all we are ..or "carry" ? Good luck to all...please do keep in mind that there is a vaccine being researched. We all may be coured one day. There is hope : )

wow that is awsome that you were able
to find support in your friends. I
won't tell mine because it has no
affect on the relationship, of course
I would tell anyone I was planning to
be sexually involved with. Good luck
to you
