Can't express how important safety is......

I'm 24 I was given Hpv by a rapist 14 yrs ago. I didn't test positive until a yr. after the rape. (1995) Doctors told me not to worry it will go away on its own its only a virus. Not knowing that I had a virus that caused warts. my first outbreak came around age 15 scared out of my mind I seen a doctor they cut it off and told me again it will go away don't worry. Now I was still in the middle of the rape trial and trying to do school work. To top it counseling to try and forget about the rape yet it seemed I was going to the gyn only to be reminded of what this creep id to me over and over again. Sadly it gets worse. To make this story short I have had to get 10 lasers done to remove the warts this virus cause's. they also have tried creams like aldera also condylox which burned so bad I have to get a cath at times. My whole point in sharing my story is most of all stay safe. And second don't assume your safe because you test negative stay safe anyway. I have been told to many times to count that my Hpv test came back negative, but yet I have the warts there that the virus causes.
