SDS...I've looked into it and...

Hey there everyone, I was looking through alot of stuff on the weekend since getting these things, and by the way thanks to everyone for the support. Anyway, I am a biochem major and I think we may have some thing here. I went to do some research on campus and found people have been injecting mice with HPV and then exposing them to SDS and the warts are not growing. It actually kills the disease. I am going to ask my physician about some how ordering a solution, which is doubtful. Unfortunately for the ladies the chemicals is to harsh for injestion of the body so it is not healthly for you to be smearing it in your vagina, but I guess hope is on the way, with a more dilute solution. Look it up on the net, there are some great articles that may be over some of you heads, but bottom line is a vaccine might be close.

I just read up on that through some
links on google. Sounds somewhat
promising although there are two
hurdles. Still 2-3 years from FDA
approval as far as I can tell and also
they haven't found a way to get at the
HPV that is protected INSIDE your
body's cells. Maybe I'm missing
something key but that's what I was
getting out of all the info.

The SDS solution also seems to be more
of a prevetative type measure as
opposed to treating those who already
have it.

Yeah. I read that we shouldn't get too
excited because after all air kills HIV
and unless we find a way to get the SDS
inside and attack the HPV it's not
going to do much good : (

That's what I read too, yy. As far as
I know there is no way to get the SDS
inside the cells where the HPV is
protected and hiding.
