After I noticed bumps, I got tested
for everything except HPV because they
didn't have a test for that. I then
waited 6 six to test for HIV and came
out neg. I hope you don't have to wait
longer than that because I read that
in rare cases that it vould take hiv
antibodies a year to show up. But the
cdc operarator told me that 6 months
was long enough. I hope he was right.

It has been 9 months for me. I'll just
feel so relieved once I find out.

I think the link between HIV and HPV is
in reality non-existent. I think what
they mean is that if you do have HIV,
then you're immune system is shot.
This means you would be more
susceptible to any virus including HPV.

I got tested, thank-god I didn't have
that too...considering how horrible I
felt after finding out about this I
don't think I could have lived on with
the HIV...I probably would have felt
suicidal.

tested, negative. There is a strong co-
incidence between the 2, however... It
seems people who carry the virus start
to show it more when HIV positive.
It also has a strong link to oral warts.

I think it's nothing to be scared of
cuz I agree with "yy" when she/he says
that "This means you would be more
susceptible to any virus.." and that's
a fact! that's how HIV weakens you..by
attacking your inmune system, don't
worry fellas !!, keep on taking care of
yourselves and that's it.

This was my original post. I found out
today that I tested negative. Maybe I
was just being paranoid, but it feels
good to know for sure.

misspurre I feel ya though joe. I'm
scared I 've been tested twice before.
The last time was about 7 months ago.
I'm, scared to get tested again. Im
scared too know. Eventhough I do not
that I should-Im very afraid. I think
eventually I will though.
