Hi, I am still a virgin but I still got genital warts...I was devastated but my friends are so supportive and are helping me through it. I never knew about this virus, much less how easily you can get it. I felt so frustrated that so many people sleep around and don't have it but I do...but now i realize that they probably just don't know it. Please tell people how easy it is to get this so it doesn't happen to them!!..i wish i would have known..

Apparently it's pretty darn easy cause I never really "slept around" yet I got it as well. I have friends who are all over the place yet they seem clean as a whistle....definitely sucks. So I guess it's just easy to get....but now that I look back it could have been a lot worse.

I can relate. I've only had sex with one person, and I'm still with him after 2 years. I NEVER slept around, and it was that much worse when I realized we both had it. It must be hard for you being a virgin; I'm glad your friends are there for you. Now you know to pass the word on because people really don't know; they have no idea how common it is. Sorry you found out the hard way...as most of us did. Keep your head up; we know how you feel.

I got diagnosed with this yesterday, and I am also a virgin. The hardest part for me was trying to tell me boyfriend and family that I was a virgin with an STD. Its hard, but we are all strong and we will make it!

this is to the person who is married and hasnt told her husband yet, tell him!!! let him know all the facts about this virus and be honest. I got diagnosed before i was married and just dating my wife, we later got married and have been happy the last couple years but hpv is still a obsticle in our relationship, if you can make it through this you can make it through anything.

hes away right now, and i would really like to tell him in person you know. i dont want to tell him by email, thats not cool. were not having sex now, so its not hurting anything, but id like to wait until he gets back. mga..how did your wrife handle it?
