Oh my god!

I cant belive the news I got a few days ago and finally found a site that has some info. My girlfriend,(yes i am a male) came back from her gyno and started rambling out a million things to me about hpv and that she has dysplasia or something on her cervix. I started freaking out and havent slept in 3 days becuase i dont know what to think. She says that it was caused by an std and I know I didnt give it to her because she was my first. She swears that since we have had unprotected sex that I automatically have it but in the same breath she says her high-risk strain does not effect me being a male. I find this hard to believe. She says the only thing that will ever happen to me is I carry the virus and have to let others know I do if I have sex. Am I going to get warts all over my penis or do I simply carry a virus unique to her cervix??? PLEASE HELP!

you wont get warts. it can cause penile
cancer. but you are pretty much just a
carrier. chill out, nothing is going
to happen to you.

Before you freak out about penis
cancer. That is rare as well.

Soemtimes I wish the high-risk types
affected men like they do women, then
men would be as equally concerned
about HPV. I've told three potential
partners and none had ever HEARD of
HPV. Needless to say, they didn't want
to get involved with me, and it has
ruined my dating life and hope for a
relationship for at least a year, best-
case scenario. You don't have much to
worry about. Unfair but true.
