I think they are mainly talking about the invisible virus not the ones that causes visible warts. Visible warts are the ones that are very hard to clear and could be life long. I am a bodybuilder and have been bodybuilding for 15 years. So my immune system is supposed to be in tip top shape. I got genital warts 3 years ago and still can't clear them even with treatment. So explain that.

Everyone is different but it seems that most people do clear the virus after a number of years. How many depends on a number of factors I would assume some of which are unknown.

Mr. Body Builder- because you lift weights does not mean you are in tip- top shape. Maybe you should become better aquainted with other alternatives.

I had them surgicaly removed 13 years ago and they have turned up again a few months ago but for years not a single one, my husband never got any and I had a child 7 years ago with no reocurrance during pregnancy. So its really hard to say.
