I'm not positive but I have this assumption that most peoples look much much milder than the pics I've seen on the internet. Mine were barely noticeable at all. No wonder people don't even know they have it.

The pics on the internet are usually taken from pateints with HIV or compromised immune system. They are nasty-don't let them scare you. Few of us are going to have anything like that.

Internet is extreme. Those pages should be put in context. Look, they wanted to see warts, so they searched the depths of the dirtiest third world countries to find the sickest people on earth. Most in those pictures are in the late stages of AIDS.

I think we need to take pics of our stuff just so we can educate each other. Because I know the internet pics scared me to death. I worried even more. I'm doing great now but I think if we were all comfortable taking pics of them we should. hehe Start our own annonomis (sp?) website

I agree with kp's idea, but how many of us can actual get a picture onto the computer without the worry of someone finding it? I know I couldnt. I'm also glad to hear that most people dont look like those pictures. Thanks for responding to my post!

All jokes aside, get a diagnosis from a doctor if there are suspicious bumps, don't go diagnosing yourself. Also try the vinegar test: soak a washcloth with vinegar and apply to the area in question for 5-10 minutes. (You can use ordinary household vinegar.) If there are warts they will turn white...Other patches of skin may turn white too, but at least you may have a better idea if you need a doctor. Good Luck.
