I started using Tea Tree oil with Aldara, on opposite days, and the warts started to disappear. I don't know if it was the oil or if the Aldara was just kicking in. I stopped using Aldara and kept up the oil and I haven't gotten many new ones but some of the old ones haven't gone yet. I put it all over the surrounding area of the warts. Gonna get back on Aldara too.

I think the basic mechanism behind tea tree oil is that it is VERY drying and warts don't like that-I doubt the oil works all by itself. If its worked for anyone-let us all know!

I use Aldara ON any visible warts and the tea tree oil on the surrounding area. It does dry the skin out but I find using a light moisturiser such as Sorbelene or Vitamin E cream can help, just a small amount. It does seem to be working for me, no more outbreaks thus far! :D You can buy it at any chemist, supermarket or health food shop and its really cheap. Best of luck!

I tried t tree oil, found it didnt clear the warts, but that they didnt grow either during the time I used it. (for around two weeks, undilted, twice a day)

people that use tea trea also use aldara so go figure when they tell you they get results. It dries.

Craig's right-tea tree oil testimonials are hardly based on sound scientifically done experiments (no control group)-use it to treat scar tissue, ease aldera, keep things "dried out" but don't put faith in this or (god forbid) homeopathic remedies.

I got mine at Bath and Body works. I put a squirt on at night before I go to bed on the days that I dont use aldara. It helps soothe the skin. I dont think it helped mine go away before I started aldara, but it has for some people. it smells strong, but I would recommend it. If not to make them go away, to deal with other treatment side effects.
