This faq is bullshit! Wrong, very wrong

Modern dna tests can, with a 90% accuracy, detect hpv when sysmptoms are not present. That's why modern sites that are actually filled with updated information, say that hpv can be confirmed to be cleard from the body after a a certain period. 92% clearance after 5 years, 91% after two. Update the fucking info!!!! Stop scaring people... Hpv may persist, but those cases are rare and it's usually because patients are smokers and or have hiv like immune depressing disorders.

I too would be very interested to know
where you found out that you could
conduct PCR for HPV on an area that
shows no hint of a wart. It may be
possible by biopsy of the area but I
doubt a PCR would pick it up on the
skin surface if there are no symptoms.

Just google hpv clearance, you'll
find many sites as well as medical
journals that back this up...

wow, if anyone can read an article and
not understand wtf its saying; ITS
YOU...Your hpv will never go away
buddy. Your WARTS will, but NOT the
hpv. You have it forever, and Dr.'s
can only find out through a physical.
so there

That's not true, nomorestress.

how can the doctor find the virus
through a physical? they can only find
the symptoms! don't post incorrect
information

I was told by my doctor that hpv is
detected in the blood, and you can
test for it. Although MOST of the time
symptoms occur so it would be
pointless ot do a blood test. Also
the reason they don't do blood tests
for it is because it is very hard to
detect, therefore it is very
expensive. Otherwise how could studies
be done on the clearence of hpv, they
definatly can test for it in the blood.

I would imagine the reason why people
have continual symptoms is because
they are constantly reinfected by
their partners (whether they have had
the same partner forever, or if they
change partners). If you were
celibate for 5 years, maybe it would
clear then. What do you guys think?
I haven't checked any of your sites
yet, so forgive me if I am
ignorant... :)
