Well, about three months ago I noticed a bump on the shaft of my penis, very close to the 'seam' of my penis and abdomen. I didn't think anything of it until another, then another, and another popped up. At this point I have about three of these flesh-colored (or pinkish), firm, raised bumps on my abdomen (ranging from about half way up, but most closer to the shaft), about 4 in the seam and on my penis, and it seems as if I may have two small ones around my anus. Soem are just shiny bumps, some seem to be shiny only in the center, and some have that 'flag' effect.
Of course, like many people here, I am freaking out. I've done lots of research and I can't really think what else it could be. They are small bumps (non larger than 4 or 5 mm, but they have multiplied pretty quickly over the past two weeks.
So I am just going to go to the doctor on Friday and get this looked at. I dont wanna worry about what it is anymore. If it's HPV, then I guess I will have a good cause to re-inforce my new year resolutions.. and if it isn't.. well.. I won't lie.. I'll be pretty darn happy.
I started smoking about a year and a half ago. I am 21 years old, a type 1 diabetic, but I am in great shape... at least I look it. I am more afraid that I will have to deal with outbrakes too often since diabetes weakens the immune system. I've had 6 partners, any of which could have given it to me. I'm not hung up on that though.
So, anyway.. wish me luck. I may end up being a frequent visitor.

first things first quit smoking, don't stress, exercise, eat healthy and take vitamins. dont worry you will be okay! We are here for you.

Well, I finally got into the doctor and I do indeed have HPV. My doc is very cool. He didn't make a big deal about it at all. He basically said what I hear a lot on here, there are many types and it is pretty common. He asked me (for treatment) if I'd like some Aldara, or just freeze em off. I told him to just freeze em, so he did, right then and there. I was kinda scared when I first though I had it, but it's not even a big deal to me. Thanks for the support!!
