I just want to post this because i think it is important for people to know that not all doctors know enough about HPV to properly diagnose it. My doctor told me i had HPV and it had a huge impact on me. I later went to an HPV specialist who told me that what i had was normal tissue. NOT HPV. Sometimes HPV shows up like long almost finger like clusters. This is what i had, but many women have this around their vulva and it is totally natural. Before you seek any treatment, please go to a specialist. The guy i went to said he sees so many women who are told they have HPV when all they have is normal bumps (they don't look very normal) but they are perfectly healthy and even common in many women. please go get checked out. And talk to the doctors that misdiagnosed you. It will help them from misdiagnosing others. all the best

I also went to my doctor and he
diagnosed me with HPV and I went back
for a second pap and everything turned
out normal. I knew I couldn't of had
anything if I havent been with anyone
since the pap I had the year before and
was fine so there was no way. So if u
get diagnosed with HPV have them double
check on it cause there is a chance
that it may just be something minor or
its normal.

from may never have had and never will
have any symptoms. I am happy for you
that it was just a misdiagnosis, but
just because you have had a normal pap
and not been with anyone does not
guarantee that your next pap will be

my doctor, so i want to go and get
tested by someone else. my supposed

very small. can someone who has been
