i got gw for years now and all i know is that i didn't get them from sexual intercourse or anything like that, i tried to get rid of them once by using something against warts but it burned and itched a lot so i stopped using that, i found this site recently and i'm glad i did, i figured tea tree oil would be the best cure so i went to a local store and bought 2 10ml bottles, i started using it this week, i don't know if it is really helping but i'm optimistic, it dries out the skin and today i noticed some skin in peeling off, i don't know if that's a good sign or not, it might explain why it looks like the warts are fading just a little bit (could be my imagination)
i hope the oil will get rid of everything because i don't like having them and it doesn't improve a sexual life, i hope someone who had a similar experience may share his/her story, thx and greetz

I have not tried the tea oil, but I do have a recommendation for you especially if you are female, take folic acid. Anything to build up your immunity.

If you were sexually active before you had an outbreak then thats how you got them. Not everyone has visible signs so its hard to know. Nobody I ever slept with had visible signs, yet I have warts. You cant use OTC meds made for other warts- you need to use meds made to treat genital warts. I use aldara cream and yes, it burns and itches but it works so its worth it. You should ask your Dr. about it

I apologize- in the previous comment I meant to say if you were sexually active you probably got them that way, but I'm not saying you are wrong . I dont want it to come across the wrong way but I also want you to be aware

I have used just about every treatment available except for Aldara. Tea tree oil has been effective for me - especially by the itching having stopped. I sure hate the smell of it though.

this is what i do: I take a toilet paper square and fold it twice I put the tea tree oil on it and i apply it to the affected area and leave it there. I change it about 3 times a day and it seems to really be working.
