relief?

I found out I had gw in february, everytime I had an acid treatment they'd fall off and come right back in a couple of days. April 7th I went for my 5th acid treatment and while I was there my gyno told me to call and make an appt to have them froze bc this treatment obviously wasn't working. Most of the warts fell off but a few of the larger ones remained. I procrastinated making the appt to have them froze, mostly because I was scared. But after a few days I noticed that the remaining ones were shrinking, and within a week they were gone. It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't seen any. I thought this would be the biggest relief in the world.. but it's not. I just keep waiting for one to appear and I'll have to go for more treatments. I hope that my body finally figured out what the hell was going on down there and fought them off. The weird thing is that i'm still always very itchy, especially after sex. My boyfried who has never shown a wart also complains of being very itchy. He has what looks like dry spots on his penis. No raised areas, bumps, or lesions.. just areas of dry skin. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? I've been asking him to go get it checked out but he gets so defensive, I know because he's embarrassed. I was going to ask my gyno next time I went for an appt, but I don't know when i'll have to go now that this outbreak cleared up. thanks for any advice :)

Hate to tell you this, but the dry
skin is most likly warts. The guy who
I got this from had the same thing on
him, which I saw and he assured me
that it wasn't an std, which I
believed. It looked like dry skin, so
I didn't think I had a reason not to
believe. Tell him to get checked ASAP.

If you are feeling itchy and
uncomfortable after sex you should
make a point to go c yer Dr. or
atleast have a phone consultation even
if the warts r cleared up. It may be
nothing or it may be something-better
safe than sorry . I had a similar
problem once and it turned out to be a
yeast infection. No other symptoms
except being itchy after sex. If he is
itchy too that is a possibility
