About 50-80% of CIN patient have HPV infection, 90% or more human cervical cancers contain HPV DNA. Those remaining HPV(-) cervical cell lines have p53 or RB gene mutation. The most prevalent HPV type in cervical cancer is type 16, folloewd by type 18, 31, 33

How do you find out what type you are? Cause I know I have HPV and I have had GW but I don't know what type I am.......

Keep in mind that less than 1% of HPV cases ever become cervical cancer which is very few considering that 50% - 75% of all HPV cases involve the high risk types mentioned above.

Yeah with the general population (80%) being exposed at one time or another...very few actually die from cervical cancer..Half of those that croke from this have never had a pap in there life. It takes more than HPV to get cancer other factors going on as well to make the cancer happen

I had a genital wart back in 87, it went away and I didn't think much of it, until a girfriend of mine contracted cancer, I thought surely it wasn't me,,this is before much research, she later died and I have that guilt for eternity, think it's a game,,,this is real,
