just one?

when you have an outbreak of hpv, is it typical to only have one wart, or is this possibly something else?

Very possible. I had what I thought
was a mole for over a year before I had
it checked out, and it was only because
I needed a physical for school that I
went to the doctor.

I only had 2..and I consider myself
lucky..That is the problem with STD's
we think that we all experiece horrible
breakouts when in fact it is
opposite,,that is how this stuff gets
passed around

Yup, I only had one also. I don't
think it was anything else because I
know the guy I was with had it (of
course I didn't know before the act).

I also had one about 4 years ago. Felt
a small bump on the outside of my
vagina. I was hoping it was just an
ingrown hair but it didn't go away so I
made an appt with my gyn. He looked at
it right away and said it was a wart
and he put some chemical on it to burn
it off. Now 4 years later i see another
bump in almost the same exact spot as
the one from 4 years ago. I am hoping
that it's nothing but I know it will
end up being another freakin wart.
