hello, I have been dealing with hpv since november and last moth the doc said the warts were gone. I had around 30 and alot near the rectal area. The problem is the rectal ones seem to be coming back, but not like they were before. The other areas are clear, just some scarring from the acid. Has anyone had persistant warts in that area? Ill go back this week for another treatment, but I ususally go 1-2x per month. Should I go more. I just want them to go away, but Im afraid I am spreading them. Thanks for any feedback :)

I only had a few on the backside, but I used aldara for those. It is quite uncomfortable, but it seems to have worked. I continued to get the acid on my frontal area, but the anal ones have not returned thankfully. The acid took forever to get rid of the other ones. Good luck.

sometimes the acid will open up the wart and then the virus from the wart will spread onto healthy areas creating new warts. this takes more than a few months to go away be patient. I many lay off the treatments too and just stick with the aldara to prevent spreading..just my opinion

i had a mild case of warts and aldara worked wonders on me. it only took 4 weeks to clear them although i am not sure how well it works if you have a more severe case. so far i have been wart free for almost a month but i still continue to examine myself just in case. i'd say try aldara because it doesnt just remove the warts it helps your body fight them off. in any case you'll be fine:) stay positive!

More than anything I've been told to keep healthy and I think it's working. I've been trying to eat well, exercising (relives stress...which affects the immune system)and I've been taking a vitamin that supposedly boosts the immune system. I got desperate and well I'm doing anything and everything to fight it. So far so good. Stay positive.
