i think i have genital warts, im only 18 and i have no money so i have to go to a free clinic if i dont want my parents to know, also i was just wondering if this can cause your period to be late because i should have had mine like 6 weeks ago. ive never had a pap smear and im really scared to go to the doctor, is there anything else i could have?

Just go to a drug store and buy a pregancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. Sometimes nerves will make you skip a period. I know I skipped a period for the first time after I was diagnosed with warts and I was not pregnant. A pap smear is over really fast with minimal discomfort. You really need to be getting these every year if you are sexually active these days

There is no getting around it you need to go see a doctor I know that it is scarey and that you don't want to! The first time I went I was so scared but it isn't as bad as you think and it will be over really fast!

I am 18 also and went for my first pap when i began showin signs of warts. The pap wasnt bad at all, just a little bit uncomfortable. but it was well worth it because now i have started treatment. Don't be scared, it is better to deal with it now then wait and let things get worse. if u need to talk, u can email me at tatum510@aol.com
