could i have HPV?

I'm 14, and have never been sexually active. Today in health we saw pictures and learned about HPV. The pictures were of some pretty severe cases. I noticed one small bump down there a week or two ago, and ive always seemed to have teeny barely raised bumps all around. i dont know if thats how it should look because ive never been to a gynocologist and it doesnt look like any of the pictures i saw in health. Is it possible that i could have HPV even though my mother didnt and ive never been sexually active?!

There are lots of normal genital bumps
down there. Most likely what you see
are cysts caused by hair follicles.
Do a search for sebaceous prominence
and if it looks like that you're all
good. Don't sweat it, if our genitals
were supposed to be pretty we'd have
em on our foreheads. You're fine.

but what about the one big one?

What big one? If it looks like
cauliflower then its possible you have
a wart but got it in a nonsexual way.
Get it checked out.

its not big or cauliflower like. its
still very small, but it is
deffinately a bump, but unlike any
pictures i have seen of HPV

Could be a lot of things. I'll tell
you what a derm told me, if its a
wart, it will grow and change over
time. So keep your eye on it and it
blossoms into a cauliflower then its a
wart. The odds are greatly skewed
that you do not have a wart if you
have not had any sexual contact yet.
The only other way to know for sure is
to get it looked at by a doctor.

My gyno told me that the way to tell
warts from other bumps is to feel
them. If they're soft and not really
bumpy underneath the skin, then no
problem. If you feel it and it feels
harder underneath the skin, then you
should get it checked out.

a wart is not under the skin , it
grows on the skin. I would say the
opposite to your gyno. if it is hard
and under the skin, it is not a wart
