How contagious is it?

I was in a relationship for 2 years and never gave HPV to the person I was with. I was diagnosed with it while I was with that person. She got tested and didn't have it. When we broke up she got tested again and she still didn't get it. We where having unproctected sex by the time we broke up in the 2nd year. Are some people immune to HPV or are some strains less contagious then others?

Some people just dont get hpv her
immune system didnt allow this virus
to settle in some people are just like
that

it is very contagious, she fought it
off. viruses do not affect everyone.

Not sure how I got it. Before we had
unprotected sex we both went and got
tested for STD's. I'm not sure if they
checked her for HPV. I had only slept
with two people before that about 2
years prior. So when I got exposed it
was two years before when I had
protected sex. I find all the
information out there confusing. I've
been dating someone for two months and
haven't had sexual contact with them
yet. I haven't told them I have HPV yet
either.

That's HPV...95% of people who get it
won't get symptoms. That's just how
it works.
