no, you could have an aggressive strain
of hpv, this could also be a sign of
PIN also known as penile
intraepithelial neoplasia, meaning
precancerous cells. you might try a
different treatment, from what i
understand recurrance rate is much
higher with freezing, try using aldara,
or TCA treatments. if it still doesnt
go away, ask to have it biopsied. (they
take a small sample and examine it
under a microscope) this will verify
exactly what it is...

and if there is any cause for concern.
if it is PIN, dont worry, most cases
can go away on there on, it will just
need to be monitored, if it isnt and it
is just HPV, you can simply have the
wart cut off to remove it, but please
remember removing the wart doesnt mean
that hpv is gone, so be sure to monitor
the area for any sort of changes. i
hope this helps some.

Yes, removing the wart doesnt mean
that hpv is gone. hpv is never gone!

hpv does cause cancer. You must
monitor your penile closely

please dont be scared by these last two
posters. hpv does cause cancer but in
men is very rare. there are about 1500
cases of penile cancer diagnosed in the
US each year and about 250 men will die
from it each year. yes it can happen,
but dont be terrified that it will
happen either, just be informed.
