Experiences Q's

How do you tell your parents you have something like HPV? Also . . . is it hard to find a partner? I'm embarrassed, I don't want to tell my future partner because they might tell other people. But I'm not going to be sexual with (him) because that'd be wrong! So what happens now? Will I ever find a boyfriend? I don't want to go on any dating things with people with HPV though.

why do you need to tell your parents?
how old are you? is their a specific
reason you NEED to inform your parents?
as far as finding a new partner, look
at hpv as a blessing. it will weed out
any guys that are after you just for
sex, b/c they run with their tails
between their legs when they cant get
sex. anytime you are in an intimate
relationship, you run the risk of being
embarassed. you are exposing your most
intimate self to someone,

and they could exploit you as well,
even before you had hpv. i understand
being scared someone is gonna tell
other ppl, but look at it this way.
guys have this nasty habit of talking
about us gals, what they've done with
us sexually, what we look like naked,
etc. THIS is extremely embarassing.
telling someone you have an std, is
just part of life. just remember, their
are things that can be a lot worse
although i must ask, why dont you want
to date others with hpv?

you wont find anyone on those sites
with hpv anyways...no one looks at
this as a big deal. its just part of
being sexually active

1/25/2005 11:38:37 PM - Me
I'm NOT sexually active. I was raped
and I hate to tell people that. I did
not chose to have sex with this guy
and it just frustrates me and makes me
so angry to know he did this to me.
What did you first do when you found
out you had hpv? Did you tell your
partner if you had one or tell a guy
you later were with? how did they
react?
