Im 20 and i have been in a faithful relationship with a girl for about 8 months. apparently at some point in that time i contracted genital warts while my girlfriend somehow remained wart free... she claims she didnt know she was a carrier, and she also says her tests for hpv come back normal. of course since im at school, i have no way of verifying that. but anyway we recently broke up for unrelated reasons... last wendsday i went to the dermatologist to get the freezing treatment done... scabs are covering some of the bumps. the doc told me to buy something called condylox gel (which i have yet to do). he also stated that the type i had werent THAT contagious, i just need to boost my immune system with the gel... i guess my problem is that im a struggling college student that cant afford the gel.. not olny that, but i am newly single... so it is going to be difficult to completely abstain from sex for the rest of the semester... and i find it difficult to tell anyone about this... so a part of me is like "4/5 people have it so what do my actions matter" than another ppart is trying to convince myself that sex with anyone right now is wrong.. and in all honesty the only thing keeping me from being sexually active right now is cause the scaps are still healing down there...but anyway, i know what most people on here will say but i guss im looking for some kinda reassurance that im not alone... and im not the only one that has been in a situation were they had to force them self to not have sex... oh and other things i would like to hear: what are ways to boost the immune system, and how much does the gel cost??
