Is it Safe to date someone with HPV???- - (10 ) comments.

I recently started dating a girl with HPV. I wasn't sure exactly what it was. She told me she had it since she was 16. I had already had sex with her. I used a condom but I was still paranoid. I really like this girl and I am willing to work with her. I just don't want to contract HPV from her. I saw some of the pictures online and they really freaked me out. I want to tell her I am scared but I don't want to hurt her feelings. Please anyone out there please give me some advice.

You dont have to freak out. Keep using
condom and you will be 99% protected.

ewwww!!!! break up with her ok!!?? you can also
contract warts by touching or physical contact...you
probably already have it!! when you first found out
u should of dumped her whether you like her alot
or not because you have to think about your self
too..

The comment above is really
ridiculous! It makes me laugh. Dont
break up with her because 80% of women
have different forms of HPV so 80% of
women should be single! This is really
ridiculous. I had HPV ( i had genital
warts once) and my boyfriend hasnt got
any symptoms the last 6 years we re
together! Cheers man

i have HPV its not that bad for a
male, even if you did contract it, 75-
80% of all adult males also have it
and they are not dieing..and crocker
was right, you probably have it
too..here are the things to remember
1. treat the warts 2. make sure your
gf gets regular checkups to avoid
cervical cancer and you two should be
fine

woops forgot to mention be up front
and honest with any future partners, I
have had alot of sexual partners
(hetero) and i have no idea who it was
i cought it from

Communication!! Talk to her about how
you feel and your fears. She may have
the same. She will know what to look
for and you two can then openly talk
about your bodies. Her virus may be
dormant, but be sure to protect
yourself and watch out for ANY
growths. Good luck!

The owner of the second post should
burn in hell and get her nose out of
this website. It was inconsiderate and
counterproductive. She has no business
here.

Melissa crooker needs to educate herself. She also needs to learn to give compasionate advise or to just keep her opinions to herself.
But a relationship is managable

what was "melissa" even doin on this
site if she doesnt have HPV? Seems kind
of strange to me. Mayb her partner gave
her warts and now shes angry? just a
guess!
