It is not uncommon for warts to appear many years after the initial ''''cure''. In most of these cases it is due to virus that has remained in the skin from the initial episode.

Genital warts not infrequently recur years later, in the absence of new sexual exposure. Papillomaviruses have an inherent mechanism of sub-clinical latency. Nearly all, or all of us have latent HPVs at some cutaneous or mucosal site.

my boyfriend has a strange flat but
slightly red color to it between his
shoulderblades and love handles. I have
recently noticed vaginal bumps small
ligh pink in color and everyonce i a
while the become a little itchy it
touched also have them below vaginal
opening .
